Troop 112 will be going to Williamsburg during Convention Week in November.  Please contact your Den Leader for registration details.  Cost is expected to be between $150 and $160, but a $50 deposit is due to the Troop June 6th.  All Webelos are registered through the end of the calendar year and are eligible to participate.

Hey Scouts!  Just because the school year will be over, doesn't mean that we shouldn't get together for some fun.  We will be having our annual Spring Campout / Olympics / Cook-off on June 2nd, Jockey Hollow Trail on June 17th, the Somerset Patriots game on July 1st, and an event in August TBD.  If you have any suggestions, please contact your friendly neighborhood Den Leader.

What better way to spend Father's Day than enjoying the great outdoors as a family!  Council is sponsoring an event right next door on June 16th and 17th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jockey Hollow Trail.  This trip qualifies scouts for Rank advancement, be it a hike, park visit, nature walk, or national park visit.  We will be awarding a commemorative patch for all scouts.  On Sunday, there will be demonstrations.  Please see the calendar for the brochure.  Please register on the web site as well as on DoubleKnot.

Our annual Spring Campout is scheduled for Saturday, June 2 at the Lewis Morris Campground next to Jockey Hollow.  Please check the calendar for details and register by eVite.

Any Webelos 2 Scout interested in Summer Camp must register by June 2.  It is being held at Mt. Allamuchy Reservation from 7/15 - 7/21.  The cost is $348, all inclusive.  You can submit the check to John Cristadoro, who will forward it to Troop 112.  Please register for this event.  Summer camp is important to all Boy Scouts, as it provides an accelerated path to the first class rank.  This rank is required for many trips and fun activities, including the National Scout Jamboree.  There are scholarships available for any scout in financial need.  Note that all Webelos Scouts Council dues are paid through December.  They are encouraged to participate in Boy Scout meetings and events.
